The Audiovisual Union is an association, created during the pandemic, which provides food support to Culture professionals who were left in a situation of social vulnerability as a result of the massive cancellation of cultural activities.

“The t-shirts are made in partnership with the Portuguese brand Giigi, but we are the ones who will donate part of the money from the sale of the shirts created in Viana do Castelo to the Audiovisual Association”, explained the businesswoman from São Romão do Neiva, on the bank left of the river Lima.

The shirts are “for sale at the World You Need is Love project 'online' store, cost 29.90 euros, with five euros going to Associação Audiovisual, an association created in response to the serious difficulties that the covid-19 pandemic created. among the thousands of workers in the audiovisual and cultural sector in Portugal”.

União Audiovisual is one of the support groups for cultural workers, which emerged from March 2020, when the first shows began to be postponed or cancelled, even before the closing of the concert halls was decreed.
